Treehouse Unveils tHYPE To Bring Fixed Income Yield Into Hyperliquid

Treehouse announced the launch of tHYPE, its new tAsset designed to operate within the Hyperliquid ecosystem. tHYPE joins tETH and tAVAX as part of the platform’s multi-chain expansion, with the goal of bringing decentralized fixed-income infrastructure to one of the most efficient on-chain environments in the market.

tHYPE functions as a native DeFi liquid staking primitive for Hyperliquid. Its yield strategy is powered by Kinetiq, the protocol behind kHYPE, Hyperliquid’s liquid staking token. By taking kHYPE as its base, tHYPE allows users to capture native staking rewards alongside additional yield generated through interest rate arbitrage, which Treehouse calls Market Efficiency Yield (MEY). Holders can keep the asset, deploy it in vaults, provide liquidity, or use it as collateral on lending platforms.

The asset also contributes to Treehouse’s Decentralized Offered Rates (DOR) infrastructure, extending the principles underpinning tETH and tAVAX into Hyperliquid’s high-speed environment. The strategy is subject to the same security and monitoring framework applied to existing tAssets. Positions and yields are visible from the platform’s dashboard.

Treehouse noted that the minimum amount to mint tHYPE is five units, in line with Kinetiq’s underlying staking mechanics. The company anticipated that it plans to add further integrations within the Hyperliquid ecosystem in the coming months.
