The Shiba Inu team has just collaborated with crypto-friendly travel booking website Travala to launch a special deal allowing SHIB users to get a free $25 travel credit when they create an account on the cryptocurrency-friendly travel website.
The announcement comes on the heels after W Hotels, a luxury hotel located in Dubai, partnered with Travala to allow its customers to pay for booking using SHIB tokens. Travala had earlier added support on their website for payments in Shiba Inu in 2021 allowing its customers to book over 2 million hotels worldwide and flights from more than 600 airlines.

According to the new announcement, the free $25 travel credit can be redeemed to book more than 3 million hotels, flights, and other Travala.com services. The Shiba Inu ecosystem has made immense progress in terms of adoption recently, spiking a greater interest among users and investors, alike.
Even during the recent bloodbath in the crypto market due to the collapse of FTX, the Shiba Inu project managed to add nearly 50,000 new holders. Touted as the, “Dogecoin killer“, SHIB has witnessed an astronomical growth in all spheres of the crypto industry within a span of just two years.
Shiba Inu Ecosystem is Making it Big in Crypto
Earlier this week, Shytoshi Kusama, project lead and developer for Shiba Inu took to Twitter to reveal that the World Economic Forum (WEF) is looking forward to working with memecoin ecosystem Shiba Inu on a global policy.

The Shiba Inu team kicked-off this year on a high note announcing its virtual universe dubbed, “SHIB: The Metaverse”. Apart from the metaverse, the SHIB team has also revealed the launch of Shibarium, a native layer-2 scaling solution to circumvent high Ethereum gas fees.
In August, the SHIB team launched a new collectible card game titled, “Shiba Eternity” that will be available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. However, the biggest project that is currently in the works is the “ShibaNet”, a decentralized marketplace that would allow the Shiba Inu community to exchange goods and services seamlessly.
Although the announcement did not impact SHIB prices significantly, the token is up 0.25 per cent in the last 24 hours to trade at $0.000009. However, SHIB has declined 0.41 per cent over the past seven days.
