A rumor about an alleged project reset of SHIB stirred controversy within the community over the past few hours, but was quickly debunked by veteran figures of the ecosystem.
The X user known as RuggRat claimed that the network could be “starting from scratch”, sharing details of a proposal that would involve abandoning the existing roadmap, migrating to a different blockchain, rebuilding ShibaSwap under a new platform and reconsidering the role of tokens such as BONE, LEASH and TREAT, setting aside Shibarium and the integration with Zama.
Funny how you keep this up knowing it's fake. https://t.co/tOWjJkA0PO https://t.co/cbebztJs7G

The community’s response was unequivocal. Mazrael, a veteran member of the ecosystem and advisor to Shiba Eternity, directly rejected the claims by replying to RuggRat’s post: “How funny that you keep this up knowing it’s false.“
Mazrael identified those responsible for the rumor as the same actors who had previously posted false migration alerts in Telegram channels of the network, after silencing and banning legitimate developers.
According to the veteran, these individuals have no connection whatsoever to the ecosystem or Zama. The “Shiba DAO” page linked by RuggRat displayed a warning stating that its content may contain scams. The community was urged to avoid unofficial sites and suspicious links that could lead to the theft of funds.
