Nasdaq-listed firm SharpLink, Inc. executed a historic on-chain deployment of $200 million from its Ethereum (ETH) treasury through a strategic partnership with Anchorage Digital Bank. The operation consisted of minting ether.fi’s weETH liquid restaking tokens via integration with EigenLayer and transferring the position to the Linea Layer 2 network using LayerZero, keeping the funds under qualified custody at all times.

This move marks a regulatory and institutional milestone, being the first time a publicly traded company bridges assets to a Layer 2 network and interacts with restaking protocols without breaching strict corporate compliance frameworks. With reserves nearing 900,000 ETH, SharpLink aims to maximize yield per share by transforming its passive balance sheet into active, productive liquidity within the institutional DeFi ecosystem.

As a next step, SharpLink will continue diversifying its yield strategies across decentralized protocols alongside Anchorage, setting a new standard of financial governance for corporations looking to operate on-chain securely.
