SecondFi and Wirex will launch SecondFi’s first self-custodial card, allowing users to spend directly from their own wallets while keeping control of their funds. The announcement said the card will support crypto and fiat spending anywhere Visa is accepted.

The rollout affects users seeking card payments without depositing assets with a third-party custodian. SecondFi said the card will be integrated into its app, where users can spend, trade, earn and save from one account, while Wirex provides issuance infrastructure. Supported assets include ADA, BTC, ETH, USDC, stablecoins and hundreds of other digital and traditional assets.

The next point to watch is early access and jurisdictional availability. The announcement says SecondFi is designed for mass adoption and requires no prior crypto experience, but product availability remains subject to eligibility, onboarding, compliance and partner approval requirements.
