Pyth Network officially launched its Data Marketplace and added six major financial institutions as new data publishers: Euronext FX, Exchange Data International, Fidelity Investments, OTC Markets Group, SGX FX, and Tradeweb. This product could mark a turning point in the institutional distribution of market data.
These institutions, which historically channeled their data exclusively through traditional vendor networks and proprietary terminals, will distribute their datasets through onchain infrastructure for the first time. The covered assets include FX spot, precious metals, crude oil swaps, and reference data on equities, ETFs, fixed income, and derivatives.
The Data Marketplace allows any institution to distribute its own datasets — from economic indicators to OTC prices and currency benchmarks — through Pyth’s global infrastructure, which reaches more than 100 blockchains and 700 applications. Institutions retain full control over their data, attribution, and access conditions.
“Our 24/7 global economy needs more than a price layer. It needs a comprehensive, accessible, and transparent data layer,” stated Mike Cahill, CEO of Douro Labs. The network has accumulated more than 120 data-publishing institutions, 3,000 active price feeds, and over three trillion dollars in secured trading volume since its founding.
