OpenPay said its Cash-In feature is back after receiving strong demand from users, restoring a route for bringing supported assets into its payment ecosystem. The service includes Pi Network among its supported options, making the return of Cash-In a fresh utility channel for PI holders seeking to move value into OpenPay’s payment infrastructure.

Under the restored flow, users can convert supported assets, including PI, into OUSD before using the resulting balance across OpenPay services. The platform connects with 96 partners spanning crypto assets, Philippine banking channels and global payment services, with asset conversion serving as the bridge between crypto holdings and everyday payment functionality inside the ecosystem.

OpenPay said the feature returned in response to community requests, placing accessibility and payment utility at the center of the update. For Pi users, the key test will be whether restored Cash-In support translates into sustained transaction activity and broader practical use of PI rather than remaining primarily an additional conversion route.
