The collaboration will evaluate three lines of work: the tokenization of securities listed on Australian exchanges, the local distribution of Ondo Stocks and tokenized U.S. Treasury bond offerings, and the development of infrastructure that connects Australian markets with the global onchain economy.
Openmarkets will contribute the local knowledge and financial infrastructure needed to analyze how Ondo’s products and technology can serve investors in the region.
The firm clarified that any resulting product or service will be subject to definitive agreements, due diligence processes, regulatory analysis, and the corresponding approvals. The MOU represents the formal starting point of that joint work, but does not yet guarantee concrete outcomes.
