OKX Wallet announced the discontinuation of several DEX market features in its app starting with version 6.189.0, along with corresponding changes to its web platform.
According to the official statement published, the wallet will remove four tools that were part of its asset analysis and discovery interface.
Among the affected features are Surge, which will disappear from both the app and the web; Vibes, whose analytics and popularity scores will be discontinued, although the informational feed will remain available in the app; Signal, which will lose the Gems and Activity sections in the app, while on the web only Activity will be removed, and Radar will remain unchanged; and Mentions, which will no longer be available exclusively on the web platform.
OKX clarified that versions prior to 6.189.0 may keep these features temporarily active, but with no guarantees of long-term maintenance.
The wallet’s team justified the changes as part of a process of improving the product experience, with the goal of offering higher-quality services to its users.
