Neobanking giant Nu Holdings Ltd. announced the launch of Nu Global. It is a multi-currency digital account that directly integrates Circle’s USDC and EURC stablecoins. Designed to operate without borders, the solution automatically converts fiat deposits into digital dollars and euros, enabling users to execute instant, fee-free cross-border transfers to more than 35 countries, with priority rollout across Latin America, the United States, and Europe.

This move represents Nu’s largest blockchain infrastructure integration to date. The product offers estimated daily yields of 3.50% APY on USDC balances and 2.20% APY on EURC, accompanied by a virtual Mastercard with no markup fees. Backed by Lead Bank in the US while it processes its national banking charter, the neobank challenges traditional banking across key remittance corridors and accelerates the adoption of regulated stablecoins.
This initiative consolidates Nu Global as an efficient bridge between traditional finance and the digital economy, adding custody and trading options for assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. The fintech’s next step will focus on expanding its territorial reach and securing its US banking charter.
