Circle revealed that USDC assets under custody on Kraken’s platform grew by 30% since their strategic partnership in September 2025. At the same time, transactions with EURC, the euro-pegged stablecoin issued by Circle, neared $1 billion in cumulative volume on the exchange, consolidating multi-currency liquidity for global and institutional investors.
Stablecoins are moving deeper into the products customers already use.
Kraken partnered with Circle to expand USDC and EURC utility across funding, trading, wallet infrastructure, and onchain access.

This operational surge stems from a deep integration across infrastructure, funding, and decentralized finance. Notably, 350 million USDC was deposited into Kraken’s DeFi Earn vaults following its technical rollout, enabling direct yields through on-chain protocols without manual signing friction. For the market, this confirms the advancement of regulated stablecoins as primary instruments in derivatives, decentralized lending, and cross-border settlements under the European MiCA regulatory framework.
Looking ahead to future phases, the sustained adoption of EURC and USDC on Kraken will pave the way for greater integration of synthetic assets and merchant payments without conversion fees.
