The update affects merchants and partners using USDT for incoming payments and outgoing payouts on BSC and Ethereum. According to the release, the performance gain applies across both networks, with NOWPayments citing average payout times of 26 seconds for USDT on BSC versus a 45-second market average, and 94 seconds for USDT on Ethereum versus a general market range of 3 to 10 minutes.
