The platform integrates all of Helio’s technology, a crypto payments startup acquired by MoonPay. This acquisition marks the creation of a unified ecosystem.
The new platform merges MoonPay’s infrastructure with Helio’s checkout tools to deliver complete digital commerce solutions. It is designed to simplify crypto payment integration and accelerate adoption on a global scale.
It supports major cryptocurrencies such as USDC, USDT, ETH, SOL, and BTC. More than 6,000 developers, companies, and merchants already use Commerce, including Shopify, The Solana Foundation, Ledger, CoinMarketCap, Jupiter, Fortune Media, and Dorsia.
One of its key pillars is the integration of Solana Pay within Shopify, originally developed by Helio for the Solana Foundation. MoonPay Commerce will now enhance that connection, allowing merchants to accept instant, low-cost crypto payments directly from wallets, without intermediaries or unexpected chargebacks.
