HTX Launches AI Skills Protocol to Enable Direct AI‑Driven Crypto Trading

HTX officially launched AI Skills, an open capabilities protocol designed for the artificial intelligence agents ecosystem that allows these systems to understand and execute cryptocurrency trading operations through natural language commands.

The first version includes two core modules: spot trading, with support for market orders, limit orders, and position management; and futures trading, with position opening and closing, leverage adjustment, and take-profit and stop-loss configuration.

The protocol functions as a bridge between AI and the platform’s operational capabilities. Users do not need to learn complex APIs or write code: it is enough to describe the trading intent in natural language for the agent to interpret and execute the operation. HTX AI Skills is compatible with agent development tools such as OpenClaw, Claude Code, and Cursor, and allows users to start trading in under three minutes after connecting the corresponding command from the terminal.

The architecture adopts a standardized Skills protocol built to scale. The roadmap includes an MCP server for native integration with AI clients, a command-line tool aimed at quantitative traders and developers, and new capability modules covering account management, trade history, copy trading, and yield products. The upcoming launch of an AI assistant within the HTX app for market data queries and product information was also announced.
