The Cardano Foundation said that it partnered with Hamburg-based data cooperative Reef Data eG to record sales, reward distributions and member payouts on the Cardano blockchain. Using Reeve, the Foundation’s open-source transparency platform, the project makes cooperative payment flows independently verifiable instead of relying only on internal records.

Reef Data built the application layer, including backend systems, a user wallet extension, public and auditor dashboards and blockchain referencing. The Cardano Foundation supplied and expanded Reeve’s publishing and data-reading services, while both teams defined the data model, on-chain and off-chain strategy and integration testing, placing member transparency and auditor access inside the same reporting architecture.

The partners tested system integration, structured-data publishing and retrieval, technical feasibility, performance and usability. Reef Data members will be able to review their data and earned rewards, while auditors receive cryptographically anchored, time-stamped records. The next step is whether the tested framework can support production-scale cooperative payments for future members and customers.
