BlackRock and Fidelity Capitalize on the Bitcoin ETF Rebound
BlackRock‘s IBIT fund led the session with $160.23 million in new flows, followed by Fidelity‘s FBTC fund with $111.90 million. Together, both funds concentrated more than 90% of the total captured during the day. ARK 21Shares‘ ARKB fund contributed an additional $14.18 million, and Morgan Stanley‘s MSBT fund added another $11.24 million. No Bitcoin product recorded outflows. Trading volume across Bitcoin ETFs reached $2.12 billion, and combined net assets closed at $77.41 billion.
The session also brought new evidence of the growing importance of institutions in the market. Quantitative trading firm Jane Street disclosed positions exceeding $1 billion in spot Bitcoin ETFs, with approximately $828 million concentrated in BlackRock’s IBIT and the remainder distributed across Fidelity and Grayscale products.
Harvard Management Company, for its part, kept its IBIT position unchanged during the second quarter: 3,044,612 shares valued at $101.4 million as of late June, a figure identical to the previous quarter following two consecutive periods of divestment.
Ethereum Joins the Recovery
Ethereum ETFs distributed their $30.85 million across three funds. BlackRock‘s ETHA fund received the largest share, around $25.90 million; Fidelity‘s FETH fund received $4.27 million, and Bitwise‘s ETHW captured approximately $682,000. No Ethereum fund reported outflows. Trading volume for the segment reached $459.73 million, with combined net assets standing at $10.59 billion.
Products tied to Solana, XRP, and HYPE recorded no creations or redemptions during the session, remaining on the sidelines of the recovery led by BTC and ETH at the start of the week.
