Anchorage Bets on Institutional Security in DeFi

Immunefi is critical infrastructure for blockchain security. The platformĀ protects more than $180 billion in total value lockedĀ across protocols such asĀ Ethereum, Aave, Optimism, and Arbitrum, and has a network of more thanĀ 60,000 security researchersĀ worldwide. To date, it has distributed overĀ $130 million in rewardsĀ to ethical hackers and researchers through bug bounty programs.

What Is Immunefi?

The IMU tokenĀ aligns the incentivesĀ of all ecosystem participants —from protocol teams to researchers— around responsible vulnerability disclosure. Anchorage, founded in 2017, wasĀ the first digital bank to receive a federal charter in the United States, a status it obtained in 2021. That same year it closed a Series D round ofĀ $350 millionĀ that valued the company atĀ $3 billion, backed by Apollo, Goldman Sachs, and KKR.
