TL;DR
- NEAR ETF Inflows: Bitwise’s NRR fund recorded $5.42 million in net inflows, extending three consecutive weeks of positive flows totaling more than $80 million.
- Network Expansion: Quarterly results showed cumulative volume through NEAR Intents surpassing $32 billion, with over $8 million allocated to token buybacks and Confidential Intents reaching about $160 million in value locked.
- Technical Outlook: The token remains below resistance near $5.02 but continues to hold above key support around $4.55, keeping the broader market structure intact despite recent weakness.
NEAR extended its recent decline on Tuesday, falling more than 5% after posting a similar loss in the previous session. The token traded around $4.70 at the time of reporting, remaining below a key resistance cluster near $5.02. The latest pullback came despite continued investor interest through an ETF tied to the asset, highlighting the disconnect that can sometimes emerge between fund demand and short-term market performance.
According to SoSoValue data, Bitwise’s NRR fund attracted $5.42 million in net inflows on Monday. Those purchases followed three consecutive weeks of inflows totaling more than $80 million, showing sustained demand for investment products linked to NEAR.
ETF Demand Continues Despite Price Weakness
The latest inflows suggest investors remain interested in gaining exposure to the token through regulated investment vehicles. However, ETF buying has not been enough to prevent the token from slipping below the closely watched $5 level. Market activity demonstrates that ETF demand represents only one factor influencing price action.
Even with positive fund flows, broader trading conditions and momentum indicators continue to play a significant role in determining the direction of the token. The recent decline has occurred as traders evaluate near-term technical signals, many of which point to slowing momentum. Although fund inflows remain constructive, price performance has yet to reflect that optimism.

Network Growth Paints a Positive Picture
The protocol’s latest quarterly report highlighted continued expansion across several areas of its ecosystem. During the third quarter of 2026, cumulative volume processed through NEAR Intents exceeded $32 billion, representing an increase of roughly 45% from the previous quarter’s cumulative figure. The report also revealed that more than $8 million in fees had been directed toward token buybacks.
At the same time, total value locked in Confidential Intents reached approximately $160 million, marking growth of around 463%. These developments indicate growing usage of the protocol infrastructure. Still, the report noted that network expansion and buyback activity do not automatically translate into immediate gains for the token in the market.
Key Levels Remain in Focus
From a technical perspective, the token continues to trade below its 50-period Exponential Moving Average and a descending resistance trendline near $5.02. A breakout above that area could improve sentiment and shift attention toward $5.5780, followed by the $6.00 level. For now, support remains intact. NEAR is still trading above its 200-period EMA near $4.55, which serves as the first major downside reference. If NEAR holds this zone, the current move may be viewed as a correction within a broader uptrend rather than a complete trend reversal.
