DriveWealth is integrating Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin into its global brokerage infrastructure as part of a broader partnership designed to modernize financial services. Announced on October 14, 2026, the collaboration aims to connect traditional investing with blockchain-based payments, settlement and custody, potentially reducing delays that affect international investors and financial institutions.
The agreement comes as brokerages seek more efficient ways to move capital across borders. Although U.S. equities operate on a T+1 settlement cycle, international funding transfers can take longer, creating liquidity constraints for businesses serving customers across multiple markets.
Global investing is evolving. The infrastructure behind it should too.

How DriveWealth Integrates Ripple’s RLUSD Into Brokerage Operations
The initial stablecoin integration will support settlement in Europe, with a planned expansion into the United States. DriveWealth will use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) alongside Ripple’s minting and redemption infrastructure, connecting blockchain-based dollar transfers with its existing brokerage services.
RLUSD is Ripple’s U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, designed to maintain a value equivalent to $1. Its availability on the XRP Ledger provides access to blockchain settlement capabilities, including transfers that do not depend on conventional banking hours. The network’s infrastructure could help financial institutions coordinate funding more efficiently, although actual processing times depend on integration requirements, compliance checks and operational arrangements.
The partnership also includes Ripple Payments for cross-border funding from DriveWealth’s international partners. In addition, the companies are working on digital asset custody in Europe, with plans to explore additional markets over time.
These services could help DriveWealth’s partners manage cash and collateral more efficiently. Instead of relying exclusively on bank wires and their associated cutoff times, eligible clients could use stablecoin-based funding that converts into cash in near real time, subject to the platform’s operating procedures.

Ripple And DriveWealth Expand Digital Asset Infrastructure
DriveWealth CEO Naureen Hassan said the company’s existing support for 24/5 trading makes funding availability a priority. Extending that infrastructure to stablecoins and digital assets could help clients keep capital accessible beyond traditional banking schedules, including overnight periods and weekends.
Ripple’s stablecoin executive Jack McDonald said the collaboration developed from a cross-border settlement challenge into a broader effort spanning trading, custody and settlement. The companies are also exploring equity financing opportunities through Ripple Prime’s Delta One business, which provides institutional services across U.S. equities and equity derivatives.
