XDC Network highlighted a $2 billion tokenization commitment with Brazilian fintech Liqi as a key September milestone, after the initiative reached its original $500 million target nine months ahead of schedule. The expanded goal runs through 2028 and focuses on regulated financial instruments such as receivables, debentures and corporate credit, reinforcing XDC’s push to bring real-world asset tokenization deeper into institutional finance.
Institutional access also expanded during the month as 21Shares added staking to its XDC Network ETP and Bitcoin Suisse introduced XDC trading and custody. XDC also contributed insights to a World Trade Organization report on stablecoins in international trade, while initiatives in Japan explored digital identity and blockchain-based trade finance, broadening the network’s role across investment products, payments and global commerce infrastructure.
September also brought growth across AI and institutional infrastructure, including the launch of an AI Agents & Blockchain Accelerator with Plug and Play and DSRV joining as a Masternode validator. The next phase will focus on converting these partnerships and tokenization commitments into sustained on-chain activity, as XDC continues expanding across Asia, Europe and the Middle East in October.
