Rango Adds BOB Gateway for Native Bitcoin Swaps

Rango integrates BOB Gateway to bring native Bitcoin swaps across its cross-chain routing ecosystem spanning more than 80 blockchain networks.

Rango has integrated BOB Gateway into its routing engine, making native Bitcoin swaps available across Rango’s interface, supported wallets and apps using its API. The integration brings native BTC routing to Rango’s broader cross-chain ecosystem without requiring each wallet or dapp to add BOB Gateway separately.

Rango spans more than 80 chains and 150 DEX and bridge protocols, while BOB Gateway uses an intent-based model in which professional liquidity providers quote swap rates. Users can swap native BTC into stablecoins, wrapped Bitcoin assets and tokenized gold, with Bitcoin moving directly without a custodian holding funds during the transaction.

The integration is already live, so the next measure of impact will be how widely users and developers adopt the new BTC routes across Rango-powered products. The key test is whether the added routing depth improves execution and expands native Bitcoin cross-chain activity, particularly across wallets and applications that already rely on Rango infrastructure.
