TL;DR

  • AnomaPay integrated tokenized stocks from BNB Chain, allowing users to hold, send, and gift them with full privacy.
  • Eleven bStocks are already available, including Apple, Tesla, NVIDIA, SpaceX, and GameStop. More stocks are planned for the future.
  • The tokenized stock offering on BNB Chain surpassed $1.2 billion, double that on Ethereum, reaching $2 billion in volume in a single weekend.

AnomaPay now offers support for tokenized stocks, known as bStocks, within its private payments application built on Anoma DOS, a distributed operating system.

From now on, users can deposit, transfer, and gift these assets without exposing their positions on a public chain. Thanks to this integration, tokenized stocks are available on the platform for the first time, responding to demand and strong interest in this type of product.

bStocks are tokens issued on BNB Chain, backed 1:1 by real shares held in custody by a third party. Users can convert between the token and the underlying stock at any time and withdraw assets as standard BEP-20 tokens to their own wallet.

In the first batch, AnomaPay added eleven securities: Invesco’s QQQB, SpaceX’s SPCXB, Apple’s AAPLB, S&P 500 ETF’s SPYB, Circle’s CRCLB, Micron’s MUB, Tesla’s TSLAB, NVIDIA’s NVDAB, SanDisk’s SNDKB, Strategy’s MSTRB, and GameStop’s GMEB.

AnomaPay Replicates the Privacy of Traditional Stock Markets

The core of the proposal is straightforward: a traditional brokerage account is private by default. An investor’s employer cannot check their positions, nor can a neighbor track their trades. Tokenized stocks on public chains break that standard, as every purchase, every transfer, and every balance is visible. Links between different addresses allow users to reconstruct a complete trading history and, ultimately, estimate a person’s net worth.

Greater Security for Investors

The consequence of this is that someone with access to that history can identify an investor as a target for phishing or worse. Those operating under trading windows or disclosure rules are exposed to employers and third parties. Fund managers broadcast positions that competitors can exploit or front-run to replicate.

Within AnomaPay, zero-knowledge cryptography keeps balances and movements readable only by the account holder. By depositing bStocks into the application, the public link to any external wallet is severed.

Assets can also be sent via a shared payment link, and the Red Envelopes feature allows users to gift stocks without revealing their wallet or their own positions. Everything coexists alongside stablecoins, ETH, and tokenized gold in a unified view that only the user can see.
