EX.IO and Arco, a real-world asset platform developed by Undefined Labs, signed a memorandum of understanding on September 15 to explore institutional distribution of tokenized RWAs across Asia, beginning with South Korea. The framework would combine EX.IO’s regulated product offering with Arco’s multichain infrastructure, with the initial push focused on Korean institutional channels.
Under the proposed collaboration, EX.IO would provide tokenized U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, private credit and fixed-income products to Arco, subject to regulatory approval. Arco is intended to serve as the on-chain distribution layer, connecting those products with qualified institutions, protocol treasuries and DeFi liquidity across multiple networks, while both companies also plan joint research, events and business-development efforts.
The MOU does not set product launch dates or guarantee specific offerings. Actual availability will depend on later agreements, regulatory approvals and investor-eligibility reviews, with the first phase centered on identifying institutional demand in Korea before any wider expansion into other Asian markets, blockchain networks or distribution channels.
