Bitcoin continues trading within a narrow price range, but two of its largest corporate holders are standing firm without hesitation. Simon Gerovich, CEO of Metaplanet, and Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, publicly reinforced their argument that the 21 million BTC supply cap surpasses any unlimited monetary issuance regime, regardless of what the price does this week.
Gerovich pointed out that the global M2 money supply reached a new all-time high of over $100 trillion, describing it as a long-term bullish tailwind for Bitcoin. “21 million will always be 21 million. When the money supply expands forever, you hold the asset that cannot,” he stated.
The printing never stopped. Global M2: new all-time high, ~$121T and rising.
Bitcoin's price has decoupled from liquidity over the past year. But supply schedules don't change. 21 million will always be 21 million.

Strategy holds approximately 840,447 BTC, equivalent to $53 billion, making it the largest publicly traded corporate holder in the world. Metaplanet, listed in Tokyo, holds 43,000 BTC valued at $2.7 billion, ranking third globally according to Bitcoin Treasuries.
Saylor also offered a different reading of the same principle: “Money is energy. Bitcoin is digital monetary energy,” he stated, arguing that BTC represents the most efficient form of stored value because its supply cannot be expanded arbitrarily.
