Strategy will resume bitcoin purchases before the end of 2026, as confirmed by its CEO, Phong Le, in statements shared by Wu Blockchain. The executive clarified that the company remains a massive net buyer of the cryptocurrency: since January it acquired around 175,000 BTC and sold approximately 7,000, positioning it as a net buyer 25 times greater than its sales, despite having paused purchases at the end of June.
Le explained that the funds obtained from recent sales were used to support Strategy’s preferred stock dividends, share buybacks, and to strengthen the dollar reserve, which surpassed $4.6 billion following the latest transaction. Meanwhile, the controversial STRC share bounced back from its lows of $75, though it remains below its par price of $100 and closed Tuesday at around $95.
