USDT0 Blog said that, starting today, Bitcoin holders can swap BTC directly into tokenized gold through BOB Gateway. According to the announcement, the integration enables BTC-to-XAUt0 swaps in a single transaction, without an intermediary holding funds.
The rollout targets Bitcoin holders seeking gold exposure without moving through centralized exchange accounts or added custody risk. BOB Gateway handles routing, gas abstraction and cross-chain delivery, while USDT0 serves as the routing asset for settlement through Ethereum and future supported destinations.
The integration currently supports direct BTC-to-XAUt0 swaps on Ethereum Mainnet, with BNB Chain and additional destinations on the roadmap. The next point to watch is expansion, as BOB Gateway’s API and SDK are positioned to extend direct Bitcoin access across about 15,000 apps and 11 chains.
