CoinPayments announced a strategic alliance with OSL Group (863.HK), a leading platform for trading and payments with stablecoins in Asia, with the goal of accelerating its expansion in the region. The agreement will grant access to OSL Group’s local payment rails and fiat conversion capabilities, enabling it to offer digital payment solutions to merchants across the region.
The announcement was made during the Japanese Grand Prix, held at the Suzuka Circuit, where Ali Rafi, the group’s CEO, held meetings with partners and clients in the area. Rafi highlighted that the integration with OSL’s regulated infrastructure will be essential to bridging digital assets and traditional commerce in one of the world’s most dynamic financial hubs.
The alliance came together through the pre-existing relationship between CoinPayments and Banxa, a global provider of Web3 infrastructure acquired by OSL Group in January 2026. Eugene Cheung, Chief Commercial Officer of OSL Group, noted that the collaboration aligns with the company’s objective of fostering accessibility at a global scale and enabling seamless movement of funds.
