TL;DR:
- Pharos Network announced the integration of USDC and Circle’s CCTP protocol into its mainnet The Pacific Ocean, targeting the RealFi sector.
- CCTP will connect the network with more than 20 blockchains and enable over 400 secure transaction routes, removing reliance on third-party bridges.
- A $10 million incubation program was launched for developers building native applications on the network.
Pharos Network integrated USDC and Circle’s cross-chain transfer protocol Circle CCTP into its mainnet The Pacific Ocean, according to what the company announced. This positions it as an essential tool for institutional settlement with native connectivity to more than 20 compatible networks.
USDC joins as the central settlement and collateral asset within the ecosystem. Pharos aims for it to serve as the foundation for tokenized real-world asset markets, structured credit products and international payment flows. Meanwhile, CCTP eliminates reliance on third-party bridges or wrapped assets, minimizing custody-related risks and improving capital efficiency across more than 400 enabled transaction routes.
Pharos Network: Infrastructure for Institutional Capital
Wish Wu, representative of the Pharos Foundation, explained that the goal is to build truly inclusive infrastructure capable of sustaining real financial markets. According to Wu, the integration will grant the network institutional-grade reliability without sacrificing accessibility for developers and users around the world.
With USDC available at the protocol level, developers will be able to build lending markets, structured financial instruments and payment networks natively on Pharos. Use cases range from tokenized treasuries and private credit to settlement for merchants and payment service providers.
To drive adoption of its tools, Pharos launched a $10 million incubation program targeting projects building native applications on the network. The initiative aims to complement the mainnet’s opening to financial institutions and enterprises seeking high-performance infrastructure with a regulatory-oriented approach.
The integration with Circle is part of Pharos’s strategy to establish itself as a global-scale settlement layer for the RealFi market, a segment that seeks to bring the logic of traditional financial markets to decentralized infrastructure with maximum usability and accessibility for all parties.
