Three altcoins will no longer be available on the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange platform, Binance. The altcoins whose services will cease are StaFi (FIS), REI Network (REI), and Voxies (VOXEL). The cessation will be effective starting December 17. The decision follows a periodic review where the exchange evaluates team commitment, development quality, and trading volume. The platform justified the delisting of tokens by pointing out that the assets no longer meet its standards.
Generally, delisting announcements by Binance cause sharp price declines due to reduced liquidity and reputational damage. It is worth noting that the three affected cryptocurrencies registered spikes prior to the announcement, but FIS and REI fell by 2% immediately after the news. This type of action underscores the rigor of the exchange’s criteria, which had already terminated services for other tokens last month, generating double-digit losses.
Deposits of FIS, REI, and VOXEL will cease to be credited after December 18, and withdrawals will be unavailable after February 16, 2026. Investors must pay attention to the remaining trading pairs, as Binance will automatically remove all trading orders on December 17. While the market adjusts to the delisting of tokens by Binance, the platform remains focused on adding new trading pairs, such as those aimed at Indonesian users, to enhance the local experience.
