TL;DR
- Startale and Sony launched a super app designed to integrate users and institutions into the Soneium ecosystem, centralizing wallets, assets, and on-chain apps.
- The app enables TGEs, rewards, and gasless transactions through account abstraction, while also removing seed phrases.
- Soneium aims to connect traditional finance with the DeFi ecosystem; the app is working with SBI Holdings on stablecoin and on-chain payment infrastructure.
Startale Group, in collaboration with Sony Blockchain Solutions Lab, unveiled the Startale App — a super app built to integrate users and institutions into the Soneium ecosystem, the Ethereum Layer 2 network developed by both companies. The application consolidates wallets, assets, and on-chain apps into a single interface, aiming to eliminate the fragmentation that still hinders Web3 adoption.
Startale App Ends DeFi Fragmentation
Startale App provides direct access to DeFi products, token generation events (TGEs), rewards, and airdrops, while enabling gasless transactions through account abstraction technology. The system removes seed phrases and automates wallet management, offering a user experience similar to that of a traditional mobile app.
The launch also marks the beginning of an institutional infrastructure designed to connect regulated custody with on-chain settlement. According to Startale, the app will be able to distribute rewards and stablecoins directly through its interface, creating a bridge between traditional finance and a $75 billion DeFi network. The team is working with financial partners, including SBI Holdings, to develop stablecoin tools that accelerate payments and distributions across the ecosystem.
Soneium Reaches Over 5.1 Million Active Wallets
Soneium, the base network powering the super app, has processed more than 380 million transactions and now counts over 5.1 million active wallets. Its architecture supports high-performance applications and provides scalability for projects requiring intensive processing.
Startale App also includes support for Mini Apps, allowing developers to build products directly within the platform without needing external websites. These integrations preserve Soneium’s composability and enable the launch of new DeFi and social experiences within the ecosystem.
The app is currently in closed testing, with a waitlist open for early access. The public launch will include reward programs and exclusive benefits for the first users and developers participating in the Soneium ecosystem
