Allie Page is the first Executive Director of the American Innovation Project (AIP), the new crypto advocacy and education group in the United States. Page will take up the position next month; she was previously Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Blockchain Association. The executive’s appointment was celebrated by Kristin Smith, former CEO of the Blockchain Association and President of AIP’s board, who stated that Page “has the rare ability to build connections with stakeholders from across the political spectrum.”

Unlike other organizations, AIP will focus on educating policymakers through events, rather than direct lobbying. The initiative enters an advocacy field already packed with major groups like the Digital Chamber and Coin Center. Page declared that the group will help “ensure America’s leaders have the foundational knowledge they need to craft smart, balanced policies.”

AIP’s educational focus will kick off next year when the organization plans to hold a summit in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The organization’s ultimate goal is to promote innovation and ensure that “America leads the next generation of technology,” a key message as the crypto ecosystem seeks greater regulatory clarity.
