Steemit and TRX Will Integrate Soon

After signing a partnership in February 2020, Steemit and TRON are closer to integration. Their new move will help users to earn more versatile rewards.

According to the latest announcement, the integration will happen today.  After the integration, Steemit users can earn TRX rewards for posting on the Steem blockchain. The two teams hope that their partnership and integration will help the overall growth for both TRON and Steem.

Earn TRX on Steem Blockchain

Partnerships and integrations are essential moves in the blockchain ecosystem. When two blockchains plan to merge their services, it means their user bases will be connected, too. As a result, the hype around their products may increase.

TRON and Steemit have shown their potential in the years of activity. TRON is focused on a fully decentralized internet and has provided useful tools for developers. Their TRX token is one of the most famous ones, and the ecosystem is on a continuous growth path. Steemit launched a first of its kind social platform that helps users earn rewards for their contents. Their initiative has resulted in many more similar platforms and aims to disrupt the social media industry.

The partnership between Steemit and TRON has multiple phases. One of the essential ones is happening today by integrating TRX in Steem. According to the announcement:

“The integration not only makes Steemit users earn more benefits and join the TRON ecosystem but also Steemit can provide TRON users with a platform for communication and sharing, which will enrich and develop ecosystems of both parties much more.”

Steemit users are surely excited about the new integration. They will be able to receive an additional TRX token for every Steem Power reward. But there will be no TRX award for earned STEEM or SBD earnings. According to Steemit:

“Posts set to Power Up 100% which get all their rewards as Steem Power, will therefore receive twice as many TRX as posts set to 50% SBD/50% SP. TRX will also be earned in the same 1:1 ratio from curation rewards. So if you have more Steem Power to vote with, you will earn more TRX from curation as well.”

The other important part of integration focuses on new Steem users. They will automatically receive a TRON account to be able to claim additional TRX tokens. Steemit will also show a pop-up for existing users inviting them to create a TRON account. After all, the two blockchains seem to focus a lot on the new partnership to grow their community faster.
