The crypto market is experiencing increased buying interest this October, with total market capitalization reported above $4 trillion. Several large-cap assets, including Ethereum and Solana, have posted gains. Solana has moved above the $220 level, while Ethereum has traded above $4,300, reflecting renewed activity in major tokens.

Amid this rally, some market commentators have also mentioned Digitap ($TAP), a smaller-cap project that is running a token sale. Any characterizations of the project’s prospects are opinions and should be treated as speculative.

Ethereum Breakout Discussed by Analysts: Price Targets Remain Speculative

In a recent X post, MerlijnTrader wrote that the Ethereum price has broken out of a cup-and-handle pattern that, in their view, has been forming over several years. Such pattern-based interpretations vary and are not guarantees of future performance.

MerlijnTrader also shared a scenario in which the value of Ethereum could reach $12,000 in the coming months. Another market commentator, Cas Abbe, published a separate Ethereum price prediction. These estimates are speculative and may not materialize.

Cas Abbe suggested that the ETH price is in a late phase of a Wyckoff-style accumulation framework and could see further upside if conditions remain favorable. As with any technical outlook, this is an interpretation rather than a certainty.

For reference, CoinMarketCap data shows the Ethereum price up by 4.41% on the 7D timeframe at the time of writing. Traders often watch levels around $4,400 as potential resistance and $4,100 as potential support, though outcomes can change quickly with market conditions.

Solana (SOL) Trades Above $220 as Analysts Watch Key Levels

The Solana price has increased by 4.8% over the past week, per CoinMarketCap. The move followed a rebound from the $195–$200 range to around $220. If momentum continues, market participants may watch the $235–$240 area as a potential resistance zone.

A rejection at current levels could also lead to a retest closer to $210. Some traders use indicators such as RSI and MACD to assess momentum; these tools can be informative but do not predict price with certainty.

On X, Ali Martinez wrote that the Solana price has completed a retest and shared a $320–$360 target range as a possibility. Another analyst, Henry, described Solana as being in a new ā€œexpansion wave.ā€ These are individual viewpoints and are not certain outcomes.

Other traders have shared additional scenarios, such as potential moves toward $250 or $290 depending on broader market conditions and key levels like $255. As with all price targets, these projections are uncertain.

Digitap ($TAP) Cites Crypto Payments Growth and Digital Wallet Trends

The crypto payments sector has expanded in recent years alongside the growth of digital wallets and custody platforms. A Worldpay report cited an estimate that digital wallets could handle $25 trillion in transactions by 2027. Digitap ($TAP) is developing a mobile-focused product that it says is intended to serve this broader trend.

According to the project’s materials, the app is planned to include a multi-currency wallet for holding crypto and fiat, tools to switch between them, and options to send funds to banks or other wallets. The project also says it plans to issue digital cards for spending where cards are accepted, and describes its approach as an ā€œomni-bank.ā€ These features are roadmap claims and may change.

Digitap: Context and Risk Considerations

Supporters of the project argue that payment-focused products and easier onboarding could broaden access, including among unbanked users. However, early-stage crypto projects and token-sale offerings can involve substantial technical, regulatory, and market risks, and adoption is not assured.

Market Outlook for 2025 Remains Uncertain

Ethereum and Solana are actively traded assets and their prices may remain volatile as market conditions change. Digitap is conducting a token sale and has published plans for a payments-focused platform, but there is no assurance these plans will be delivered on schedule or that any token will gain market value.
