TL;DR

  • Tokenized Stocks: Securitize launched tokenized shares of 12 major U.S. companies on Solana, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Netflix.
  • Market Expansion: The company expects the assets to reach future trading venues linked to the NYSE and the proposed OKX-ICE platform.
  • Regulatory Tailwinds: Recent SEC action created a pathway for blockchain-based securities venues, supporting efforts to connect traditional equities with regulated onchain trading infrastructure.

Securitize is expanding the reach of traditional equities into blockchain markets by introducing tokenized shares of major U.S. companies on Solana. The launch includes Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, Circle, Strategy, and Palantir among an initial group of 12 stocks. According to the company, the offering will begin on its existing Solana-based platform, where trading will be supported by liquidity from Jump Trading and settled using USDC. The move places Securitize at the center of a growing effort to connect traditional financial assets with crypto-native infrastructure.

Tokenized Stocks Debut on Solana

The new product will allow eligible investors in the U.S., Europe, and other permitted markets to trade blockchain-based versions of well-known public stocks. According to Securitize, each token will be backed by an actual share and designed to preserve economic benefits and applicable shareholder rights, including dividends and voting rights.

Rather than representing direct ownership on a company’s shareholder register, the tokens provide security entitlements linked to the underlying shares. Securitize noted that conversion options could become available in the future if issuers adopt tokenization models themselves. Trading will initially take place during extended market hours, with plans to broaden access over time.

The announcement arrives amid increasing interest from established financial firms seeking to bring equities onto blockchain networks. Securitize expects the tokenized shares to eventually be available on the New York Stock Exchange’s planned digital trading platform as well as the proposed OKX-ICE Tokenized Securities Venue. Both initiatives remain dependent on regulatory approval and successful platform launches.

Still, Securitize views these developments as part of a wider transition toward around-the-clock trading, faster settlement processes, and expanded use of financial assets across onchain markets. In support of the ecosystem, RQD will provide clearing, custody, and settlement infrastructure connecting the tokenized assets to traditional securities markets. Meanwhile, Ripple Prime plans to explore institutional applications tied to the offering. Securitize said these partnerships help bridge existing market systems with blockchain-based trading environments.

Regulatory Progress Supports Growth

The launch also comes shortly after the SEC introduced an innovation exemption intended to create a pathway for tokenized securities trading venues built on blockchain infrastructure. Securitize believes this framework could help accelerate adoption of regulated digital securities. Chairman and CEO Carlos Domingo said Securitize is focused on bringing equities onchain without sacrificing investor protections, ownership standards, or key market infrastructure. The company argues that Securitize Stocks are designed to support current market requirements while positioning issuers for a future where tokenization becomes more widely adopted.
