For PayPal merchants, their inventory can be listed on ChatGPT, and the company will manage all payment processing, without the merchant needing to register with OpenAI.
The integration will begin next year and is part of PayPal’s strategy to be the payments infrastructure in the AI era, adding to agreements with Google and Perplexity.
