The platform OKX officially introduced OKX Agentic Wallet, a new artificial intelligence-driven solution that allows software agents to securely hold digital assets and execute onchain transactions autonomously. The launch took place on March 18, 2026, as part of the company’s broader Onchain OS strategy.

The product integrates directly into the OKX Wallet ecosystem, enabling users to retain access to familiar Web3 tools while delegating selected tasks to autonomous agents. This structure creates a bridge between human users and AI-driven systems operating within blockchain environments.

The wallet supports operations across nearly 20 networks, including Solana and multiple EVM-compatible chains. This multi-chain compatibility allows agents to interact across different ecosystems without switching tools or interfaces, improving operational efficiency.

Additionally, the wallet enables gas-free transactions on X Layer, OKX’s layer-2 infrastructure. However, standard transaction fees still apply on external networks, where normal blockchain conditions remain in effect.

Every transaction initiated through Agentic Wallet undergoes a risk assessment before execution. Despite these checks, the user or controlling agent retains final authority to approve or reject the transaction, ensuring an additional layer of control.

From a security standpoint, private keys are stored within a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). This architecture prevents AI models or agents from directly accessing seed phrases or private keys, even while they participate in signing or sending transactions.
