London Stock Exchange-listed KR1 launched dedicated Ethereum validators through a Lido V3 stVault operated by P2P.org, with a near-term target of staking up to 6,000 ETH. The setup gives KR1 dedicated validator infrastructure while retaining access to stETH liquidity, combining elements of native and liquid staking.
KR1 retains control over deposits and withdrawals, validator fee arrangements, and vault roles and permissions, while P2P.org operates the validators. The stVault structure also lets KR1 optionally mint stETH against its staked assets, allowing the company to preserve operational control while gaining liquidity that can be used across DeFi.
The rollout begins with an initial set of 10 validators, with further deployment dependent on Ethereum’s validator entry queue. The next milestone is scaling the dedicated validator setup toward KR1’s 6,000 ETH target, while standard Ethereum staking and smart-contract risks continue to apply despite audits and operational safeguards.
