The platform allows institutions to handle the complete digital asset process, from custody and transaction to settlement, across more than forty blockchain networks. It also integrates governance frameworks, multi-party approvals, and compliance policies adaptable to local and international regulations. Dfns contributes operational expertise, having supported the creation of over fifteen million wallets for hundreds of institutional clients.

ā€œWith IBM Digital Asset Haven, our clients have the opportunity to enter and expand into the digital asset space backed by IBM’s level of security and reliability,ā€

Clarisse HagĆØge, CEO of Dfns, described the cooperation as an effort to organize the digital asset field beyond custody, pointing to scalability as the next step for institutional blockchain use.

Ā ā€œTogether with IBM, we’ve built a platform that goes beyond custody to orchestrate the full digital asset ecosystem, paving the way for digital assets to move from pilot programs to production at a global scale.ā€

The launch takes place as banks and governments begin to formalize frameworks for tokenization and stablecoins, following clearer U.S. regulations under the GENIUS Act. IBM’s participation responds to a growing institutional requirement for blockchain systems that comply with financial supervision and operational standards.

IBM and Dfns Partner to Orchestrate the Full Digital Asset Ecosystem

Digital Asset Haven includes transaction lifecycle management tools that automate and monitor blockchain operations. It features access and policy controls through multi-party authorization workflows. The platform also integrates third-party tools for identity verification, anti-money laundering procedures, and other compliance needs. Clients can connect their systems through standardized application interfaces.

Its security design employs IBM’s hardware-based encryption and key management models. It includes support for multi-party computation and cold storage through the IBM Offline Signing Orchestrator, aligned with global regulatory demands. The company also advises clients on quantum-safe cryptography for future-proof protection.
