LONDON – 1 December, 2017. The First Crypto ETF today announced it has entered into an agreement for an investment from janom, a private equity company based in Central Europe, to build a Digital Asset Custody. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the amount of the investment. The Digital Asset Custody (DAC) will securely store all digital assets including cryptocurrencies managed by the First Crypto ETF fund but will also be sold as a standalone product.
“DAC will increase security, convenience and simplify the access control. It will not require the user to purchase additional hardware. We are keen to provide clients with a new secure storage standard,” said Peter Vrabel, the First Crypto ETF CEO.
Janom, a multi-year sponsor of the World Tour Etixx Quick-Step cycling team, actively invests in information technologies and renewable energy. Its portfolio includes investments in SharperShape, Waycare, Wattstor, Carbodeon or GreenWay companies.
“In janom we have a strong and professional partner with significant IT experience,” said Mr Vrabel.
The First Crypto ETF plans to strengthen its investor base to maximise the potential of the project. The fund is in the middle of the pre-ICO phase willing to raise capital to build a leading exchange-trading fund with focus on cryptocurrencies. Besides Digital Asset Custody, the fund plans to introduce a new advanced trading platform dedicated to cryptocurrencies and exchange-traded note products.
The pre-ICO phase will end on 6th December, 2017.
