Eric Trump confirmed this week in an interview with CoinDesk TV that he is working on the tokenization of a real estate project currently under development, using the blockchain infrastructure of World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the decentralized finance protocol he co-founded.

According to Trump, the initiative aims to offer fractional ownership of the building through digital tokens tied to the asset. This model would allow public participation without traditional bank financing, opening access to new investor groups.

The plan seeks to open real estate investment to smaller investors, with potential minimum contributions around $1,000, and could include added perks such as access to services or stays at tokenized properties. The strategy aligns with World Liberty Financial’s roadmap, which also includes the rollout of its USD1 stablecoin and a debit card for everyday payments. Further details are expected on October 21, when the full interview airs on CoinDesk’s YouTube channel.
