Crypto Payment Processor Coinpayments Appoints Ray Torresan as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Coinpayments, the world-known crypto payments provider, has appointed veteran tech marketer and entrepreneur Ray Torresan as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the new branding and global growth.

Ray Torresan’s LinkedIn profile reveals that he has been working as CMO of Coinpayments since April 2020, but the official announcement came yesterday, July 9th.

The recent announcement follows the new branding for Coinpayments. On July 1, the payment processor announced its new branding as part of its strategic growth in 2020. This appointment is also a part of this growth plan. “Under Mr. Torresan’s direction, CoinPayments is embarking upon a complete rebrand and will greatly increase its ongoing marketing activities to support exponential revenue growth targets,” reads the announcement.

Coinpayments would benefit from Ray Torresan’s vast experience in tech marketing and entrepreneurship. He started his professional career in 1986 as president of TCI Communication Inc. In 1998 he co-founded MindfulEye, a software development company that created linguistic-based technologies that monitored and summarized online content. Then in September 2010, he co-founded Institute B, venture capital, and social venture incubator.

In 2015, Torresan founded a digital marketing company specialized in e-commerce, Archive Digital. He also served several companies as a director and strategic advisor. His 24 years of experience in different industries will fuel Coinpaymemts’ marketing activities to meet exponential revenue growth targets.
