Rapper Iggy Azalea has been appointed creative director of Thrust, a new Solana-based token launchpad. She confirmed she will migrate her MOTHER token to the platform, according to an interview with The Block.
The platform, launching Wednesday, requires legal contracts for creators and vets all launches to prevent pump-and-dump schemes. It aims to ensure fairer supply distribution by eliminating bonding curves and directing all presale funds to liquidity pools.
The first token offering on Thrust will be from streamer N3on this Wednesday. Azalea’s MOTHER token migration is planned by year’s end, with further celebrity collaborations reportedly in discussion for Art Basel.
