Cactus Custody now supports Lido V3 stVaults through Cactus Link, Lido said on May 29, 2026. The integration lets Cactus Custody clients create and manage stVaults from their existing custody account, bringing Lido’s modular staking infrastructure into an institutional custody workflow.

The rollout affects institutions, funds, asset managers and other Cactus clients seeking more control over Ethereum staking operations. Lido said stVaults allow vault owners to choose validators, define fee terms and set infrastructure parameters, while optional stETH minting keeps liquidity available alongside dedicated vault control.

The next point to watch is how eligible institutions use the connector after internal approvals and whitelisting. Lido noted that support varies by jurisdiction, entity and onboarding scope, making policy checks and risk diligence the practical gate before going live.
