Huobi University, Huobi Group’s China-based blockchain research and education arm, is looking to partner with blockhain experts to restart Global Blockchain Leadership Program (GBLP).
Huobi made the announcement in press release published on Thursday, June 4. The Global Blockchain Leadership Program (GBLP) is an blockchain educational course that provides top-notch blockchain education to students, entrepreneurs, and investors from all over the world.
The course is designed by Huobi University, world leading digital economy educators, and researchers. According to Huobi, the Global Blockchain leadership program “aims to help students explore new knowledge at the forefront of business changes and step into the core circles of the blockchain industry.”
This course has completed its 5 terms where 150 entrepreneurs and investors from Asia’s top blockchain companies have taken part. The announcement reads:
“As of June 04, 2020, Huobi University has provided training and education programmes in blockchain to more than 30,000 students since 2018 across the globe, including executives from China, U.K. Japan, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia and Indonesia.”
GBLP course features five educational sections that include Global Blockchain Trend, Industry Application, Digital Finance and Investment and two study tours. Huobi University primarily focuses on China but has hosted courses in the United States, Japan, and South Korea.
Huobi University, established in 2018, is a blockchain business education platform of Huobi China, Chinese subsidiary of Huobi Group. Though not a formal university, Huobi University’s goal is to cultivate top entrepreneurs and investors in the blockchain field. This training institute is dedicated to promote blockchain technology to empower the real economy, with the training of blockchain industry talents at the core.
Dr. Jianing Xu, President of Huobi University, commented:

Huobi University has designed five levels of curriculum to meet different demands for learners coming from diverse backgrounds. Huobi China have also other Blockchain research unit. Huobi Research Institute, established in 2016, works to accelerate the research and development of blockchain technology and promote the application of the blockchain industry. The Blockchain Ecology Promotion Center and Industrial Empowerment Center are also working on Blockchain empowerment.
