Chainlink Equity Data Integration and Market Background

The price appreciation coincided with Chainlink’s official announcement regarding the expansion of its APAC Equities Streams. The oracle infrastructure covers equity markets valued at more than $40 trillion across China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

The statement released on November 3 confirmed that Lighter is among the decentralized platforms where these streams are already live. The network provides real-time pricing for multinational corporations such as TSMC, Tencent, Samsung, SK Hynix, and BYD.

Public documentation does not establish a direct, verifiable causal link between the technical integration and the buying pressure on LIT. The gain follows a series of fluctuations seen in late October. On October 21, the asset experienced a 20% spike to $3.83 after details emerged from the project’s quarterly investor call.

Those sessions revealed that Lighter was planning to pursue a regulatory license in the United States during November. Additionally, an evaluation of a potential integration with Robinhood’s U.S. infrastructure was disclosed, pending approval from relevant authorities. Two days later, on October 23, the price retreated 9.1% to settle at $3.32, with a market capitalization near $829 million.

LIT’s rebound coincided with a partial stabilization across the broader crypto market, whose aggregate market cap gained 0.9% as of 16:54 UTC on Tuesday. The market had been recovering from losses following the $6.3 billion security incident reported by the Binance platform on October 30, an event that triggered a 3.32% global contraction in aggregate market capitalization on that day.

The protocol’s operational roadmap remains on track to formally file the regulatory application with U.S. financial authorities over the course of November.
