CoinDCX has denied claims of a fresh security breach after on-chain researcher Darcy flagged roughly $15.99 million in USDT and 5,783.81 TRX moving from addresses described as linked to the Indian crypto exchange. The transfers were consolidated into a TRON address before being split across multiple wallets. The alert raised concerns over a possible new exploit, but CoinDCX says the activity is tied to its 2025 breach.
Thanks for highlighting but this is incorrect and CoinDCX wallets are not breached. Pls don't spread rumours.

Darcy said the largest single movement involved about $15.82 million in USDT, with subsequent transfers traced toward deposit addresses at several exchanges. CoinDCX co-founder Sumit Gupta disputed the attribution, saying the flagged addresses had been compromised during the July 2025 incident and were no longer controlled by CoinDCX. Gupta characterized the new hack claim as a likely false alert rather than evidence of another breach.
The key issue now is whether further on-chain analysis can establish current control of the addresses involved. Transfers alone do not prove that CoinDCX suffered a new hack or that customer assets were affected, especially when ownership labels may reflect historical wallet associations. Additional wallet attribution or an official incident disclosure would be needed to confirm a separate security event.
