Robinhood has received authorization from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to introduce its retail investing platform in the Middle East from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The company plans to launch its product suite in 2027. The authorization gives Robinhood a regulated base in Dubai for its next phase of regional expansion.
The authorization will allow Robinhood to offer trading and custody across all 10 DFSA-approved asset classes, including equities, crypto, ETFs and investment tokens. The planned platform will give eligible regional investors access to a broader mix of traditional and digital assets, including products tied to real-world asset tokenization. Robinhood said its Middle East operations will be based in the DIFC.
The regional business will be led by Salah Kaddoura, Senior Executive Officer and President of Robinhood MENA, who will oversee the company’s growing local team. The next milestone is the planned 2027 launch of Robinhood’s product suite in the Middle East, with the authorization now in place to support trading and custody services from Dubai.
