Starting this Friday, October 9, Aave integrates its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server with MetaMask Agent Wallet. Stani Kulechov and the MetaMask team confirmed the integration, adding that this move allows developers to connect artificial intelligence agents directly with Aave’s lending markets. Under this architecture, AI assistants construct transactions such as loans or deposits, while the self-custodial wallet retains full control of private keys to sign and authorize every transaction.
Builders can now connect the Aave MCP to the @MetaMask Agent Wallet, linking DeFi's credit layer to agentic finance.
The Aave MCP prepares Aave actions, and the Agent Wallet signs and submits them.

This milestone reinforces the agentic finance narrative, enabling autonomous models to monitor interest rates, manage collateral, and structure complex transactions across Aave V3 and V4 under strict spending limits and security simulations provided by MetaMask.
As a next step, developers can now deploy automated interactions via Aave’s public server, ushering in delegated DeFi operations supervised in real time.
