Samsung Wallet will add USDC cross-border transfers on Solana across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices beginning in the last week of October 2026, according to the Solana Foundation. The feature will be built directly into Samsung Wallet, with the integration bringing stablecoin transfers on Solana to a large mainstream mobile user base.

Users will be able to send remittances through the same interface used for cards, boarding passes and IDs, while integrated fiat on- and off-ramps convert funds to and from local currencies. Solana will operate behind the scenes, allowing cross-border USDC transfers without requiring users to navigate separate crypto tools or blockchain interfaces.

The rollout will initially be limited to U.S. Galaxy devices, with additional markets expected to follow subject to local regulatory requirements. The next milestone is the late-October activation and subsequent expansion beyond the United States, which will show how broadly Samsung can extend stablecoin payments through its existing wallet infrastructure.
