Wallets linked to the Bitget attackers are encountering new obstacles while attempting to move stolen assets across chains, according to blockchain security platform MistTrack. The firm said a transfer routed through Chainflip was rejected and returned, adding another barrier to the attackers’ efforts to convert and relocate funds.

NEAR Intents has also intervened against transactions associated with the Bitget exploit. The protocol said it intercepted more than $50 million in attempted transfers linked to the attackers, while approximately $503,000 was actually frozen, showing how cross-chain services are increasingly screening routes connected to the stolen funds.

The immediate question is where the attackers turn as more liquidity and bridging channels restrict access. Further attempts to reroute assets through alternative protocols will remain the key activity to monitor, particularly as exchanges, security firms and infrastructure providers continue tracking addresses tied to the breach and coordinating efforts to limit viable exit paths.
